About this programme
Turn some of your holiday time into hands-on learning.
The EILA Holiday Program gives young people an opportunity to learn practical skills in an engaging industrial environment during school holidays.
Who can participate? Anyone aged 12 and above. There is no upper age limit.
How it works: Choose a skill and enrol for a minimum of 3 days.
Fee: KSh 1,000 per day per skill.
Who it is for
Young people from 12 years upwards who would rather spend part of the holiday making something than scrolling through it. No previous experience is needed, and no tools of your own.
How it works
- Choose up to three skills
- Pick a duration for each — 3 days, 5 days or 12 weeks
- Sessions run in a morning or afternoon band; you tell us which suits
- Fee is KSh 1,000 per day, per skill
- A one-off registration fee applies, and PPE can be added at registration
What to bring
- Closed shoes — no sandals anywhere on the workshop floor
- Clothes you do not mind ruining, or buy the branded overalls at registration
- A water bottle
- Any medication the learner needs during the day, declared on the form
